If you have multiple plugins with updates available, you can update them all at once by clicking the Update Available link at the top of the page. Then, select the Update button from the Bulk Actions dropdown menu.

Important: It is always a good idea to back up your WordPress site before updating any plugins. This way, if something goes wrong, you can restore your site from the backup.

Automatic plugin updates

If you are using a managed WordPress hosting provider, you may have the option to enable automatic plugin updates. This is a convenient way to keep your plugins up to date without having to manually check for updates and install them yourself.

However, it is important to note that automatic plugin updates can sometimes cause problems. If you are concerned about this, you can disable automatic plugin updates and update your plugins manually instead.

To disable automatic plugin updates, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
  2. In the left-hand menu, click Plugins > Installed Plugins.
  3. To the right of each plugin, there will be a column for Automatic Updates.
  4. Click the Disable auto-updates link to turn off automatic updates for the plugin.
